Rare Stephen Dweck Sterling Silver Carved Stone Druzy Pyrite Pearl Necklace 17
This necklace is in very nice vintage condition. There is some tarnish but I can find no scratches on the stones and pearls. I mainly sell jewelry and this is by far the nicest piece I have encountered yet; it came from an estate. Featuring five securely bezel-set stones, with a strand of baroque pearls on each end, this necklace is signed Stephen Dweck and hallmarked STERLING on the elaborately designed backing of each of the five bezel-set stones.
The central stone is clear, peached-colored, and carved in the shape of a flower, with oval stones of nicely matched druzy pyrite on either side; outside are nicely matched approximately 15 mm round, beautiful, lustrous pearls. From end to end, the necklace measures about 17 3/4. With the toggle clasp in the fastened position, I estimate the effective length of the necklace when worn at about 17 1/4.
The necklace is 1 1/8 wide in front and weighs about 3.7 ounces (107 grams). A dime has been placed in one picture solely for size comparisons. Or if you feel I earned less than five star feedback in any area.
