RARE Ancient Pre Columbian Central American Stone Carved Bead Artifact Lot

For sale is this incredibly rare Pre Columbian hard-stone bead carving lot. These aren't the common "molded clay pottery" variant of Pre Columbian beads, rather are the rare and sought after variety - carved of hard stone.

These were once rough rocks or stones of some kind (possibly a jade variety, or some similar stone). A native would have taken them, filed down their surfaces, and rotated a spindle around and around until it finally bore a hole through the centers.

Then the hole would be widened to the desired width by a similar method. While clay beads took an hour or less to produced. One of these might have taken a week or more of full devotion (depending on the culture and technology used). These are rough, as they are genuine artifacts. Please study the photos carefully so that you have a good understanding of condition.

There may be chips, nicks, flaws, blemishes, scratches, small fractures, or other issues. You will receive the exact pieces that you see in the photo. These were found during multiple archeological digs in Central America. They were then added to a collection of similar beads, where they remained for nearly 50 years.
