BEAUTIFUL Sajen & Artisan Sterling Silver Rare Pietersite, Tiger's Eye Necklace
GORGEOUS Sajen and artisan/designer hand-crafted sterling silver rare pietersite, navy, red & golden-brown tiger's eye, pearl and smoky quartz one of a kind necklace. It is 18 3/4 long and weighs 90.6 grams. It features an excellent Sajen large, ornate, sterling silver, navy & reddish-brown chatoyant pietersite, smoky quartz and pearl pendant that is 2 5/8" long by 1 1/4" wide. This pendant is bezel set at the bottom with the highest quality pietersite cabochon that is deep navy-black and red-brown with chatoyant, shimmery deep silvery blue to black rivers of color that slash across the surface.
It is joined with a square, step cut, faceted smoky quartz and a very lustrous white pearl in a scroll work, highly polished, bright sterling silver setting. These stones could not be any finer than they are and they are in excellent condition with no damage. The necklace portion is strung on strong jeweler's flex wire with a variety of unusual tiger's eye beads, which are a very close cousin to pietersite, in a variety of cuts sand colors, from golden brown, to navy, to red. All of these tiger's eye beads are exceptional in quality, also and vary in size from 8 mm to 18 mm. Interspersed with the tiger's eye are faceted smoky quartz rondelles and ovals, lustrous white rondelle pearls, six rondelle pietersite beads towards the top end of the necklace and laser cut bright sterling silver beads and shimmering, highly textured beads throughout.
This necklace is finished with a one of a kind sterling silver and tiger's iron inlaid toggle clasp by Kelly Charveaux. This necklace is in virtually new condition. While many of these beads have been in my collection for a number of years, none of them have been worn, so they are all in excellent condition with no damage other than, perhaps, natural inclusions. The Sajen pendant is pre-owned, but is in excellent condition, also. It is stamped "925" and "Sajen".
The clasp is stamped "KC" and "Sterling". All of the silver in this necklace, including the pendant, clasp and beads has been professionally tested as sterling silver. The gemstone beads and stones have been verified by a certified gemologist.
