Rare Unique Collectible Jasper Bead, Indus Valley (0324)
Unusually patterned fossilized Jasper bead. Probably origined from Indus Valley civilization (2nd millenniumBCE - 1st millennium BCE). This type of bead has been found also in Mesopotamian valley.
Collected in Pakistan in the eighties of last century. Remarkable fraying of the hole, due to a continuous use for a very long time. See "A Bead Timeline" - Vol. Lankton, The Bead Museum of Washington DC, 2004 - page 34, figure 3.4.
Length from hole to hole: 27mm. Diameter of the hole: 7mm.
