Rare # 8 turquoise Sterling silver Navajo pearl bead necklace, hallmark and STERLING etched. Hallmark appears to be N JT or N JL. This necklace showcases a rare light blue-white turquoise stone with a light brown honeycomb matrix. The stone is set in a smooth bezel wrapped in a silver strand of beads, and framed by a beautiful and shiny cut-out border.
The necklace weighs 91.8 grams total. The pendant is approximately 2 7/8" tall including the bale, by 1 5/8" wide, at its widest point, and 2 1/4 tall minus bale and loop. The bale is nicely decorated with stamps, and it's about 5/8" tall by 5/8" wide. The Navajo pearl necklace has handcrafted 3/8 beads polished to a shine, stamped STERLING, and hallmarked S on the bead right below the hook.
