Pre Columbian Jade Disc & Barrel Shaped Bead Circa 100BCE-500CE RARE
Pre Columbian Jade Disc &Barrel shaped Bead. Condition: Jade Disk is very thin, I have never scene anything like this. It had to be made by a very skilled craftsman. No cracks or restoration on this piece. Around the edges it feels rough as if it was carefully chipped out of the stone. Barrel Jade Bead 1 long, no cracks or chips. Both pieces are in extraordinary condition. History: Came from Jalisco Region of Mexico Archaeologist said jade was traded throughout Mesoamerica. So source of where found, might not be the place of origin. History of find: as you see on other pieces I have listed. I traveled to western MX as a younger man seeking artifacts.
Growing up always along the TN river & Duck rivers I found many archaic artifacts, that is what led me to my interest in mesoamerican cultures.
